-SSL encryption - Security when buying online
To protect you as a customer, we use secure encryption technologies. With SSL (Secure Socket Layer) your personal data is encrypted (not visible to third parties) on our site. This way you can be sure that your data will only be visible to you and our server.
What does SSL encryption mean?
When you visit our SSL-secured site, your browser examines whether our server contains the correct SSL certificate. An SSL digital certificate is an electronic file that identifies unique computers and servers. The digital certificates allow the client (browser) to check the server authentication before an SSL connection is established. When your computer releases the data, they are 256 bits of encryption sent over the internet to our server.
How do you recognize SSL encryption?
We use SSL encryption continuously. You can check this very easily. When you are on our encrypted site, you will see a lock symbol appear in the lower right corner of your browser. In addition, the URL of http: // changes to https: // which also indicates that the page is secure.
